I can't wait to turn that idiotic phrase on any Republican I meet who bitches about Obama if/when he gets elected.

Also, I will start singing "Proud to be an American" just to piss them off.

It should be noted that none of that ultra-patriotic/jingoism has ever appealed to me, but damnit, I'm ready for a touch of gloating.

1. That's just the problem though

To those types, Obama and by extension his administration will not be American. They have already conveniently defined what is and is not American. They honestly believe their absurdly loud minority represents the true America and the rest of us should just accept it as so.
