Tomorrow Obama can close the deal
Edited on Tue Oct-14-08 11:45 AM by bluestateguy
This is his chance to seal the deal with the people who have been willing to elect a Democrat for months, but were not yet sold on Obama. This debate can be for him what the only debate in 1980 was for Ronald Reagan.

Hillary's campaign was going swimmingly until the debate in Philadelphia last fall when she botched the question about driver's licenses for illegal immigrants. Her campaign was never the same again.

Please, please, just don't take any risks or make any gaffes.

And the one's he supposedly made a looooonnng time ago were not really gaffes, but were spun that way by the pundits.

5. Nice post....
Obama hasn't made any gaffes yet, but gaffes will ALWAYS be possible, and I, too, hope Obama doesn't get tripped up and make a gaffe.

If Obama is like what he has been in the past two debates, I'll be very, very happy and will have more optimism going into Nov. 4 than I ever had.

6. Has Obama made any gaffes during the general campaign?
The only major gaffe I can think of that he's ever made was his "bitter" remark, and his clumsy wording was due to his belief he was entirely off the record.
