Bands influencing likely democratic voters

There are only so many things we can effect, we should strive to think of things that each one of us can do to influence LIKELY democratic voters like emailing bands before they appear at swing state music venues asking them to speak to their fans and audience.

I was shocked when reading the "Canvassing for Kerry" article in this month's MoJo that the goth chick in line at a club said she wasn't going to vote but if she was she was going to vote for * :wtf:

Often we make too many assumptions about who is with us and who isn't. Any chance we can take to inform the electorate MUST be taken.

2. i would still argue the breakdown favors Kerry among secular youth

Gore Bush split the youth vote. But polling gives Kerry an advantage among youth in '04. I would argue that if you only target secular urban youth the split is higher.

We can risk registering a few likely Bush votes if the majority break our way.

Hip secular youth have much to disdain in Bush.

Bands can and do influence bands.
