3. I doubt that will happen. IF it did I don't think he'd argue the case.

I am hoping Republicans will let the people have their choice because they know that Democrats are better equipped to clean up the economy and get us moving quickly on alternative energy.

When we clean things up and build up a budget surplus, then they can send their next idiot out to steal and destroy things. I'm thinking of Jebbie, the Smart One.

4. All that took place because of the total desparation on the part of the neocons

to get * into the White House. By hook or by crook they were going to get it done. There were gop talking heads coming on TV pleading their case about how the Supremes needed to hear the case to avert a Constitutional crisis. repugs even had a new slate of Florida electors ready to cast their votes in the Electoral College election if it came to that. I'm sure there were other options out there ready to be used as well.

But now, I don't see the sense of desparation out there. Sure the cooler heads in the gop see the writing on the wall. The party's over for them. Their run for the Presidency was truly a win at all costs operation and they sold their souls to Satan himself to get it. I don't get that sense of urgency to elect McCain. The core voters of the gop are in meltdown mode. But I believe the party would just as soon hand off the mess they made to Obama/Biden and let him deal with it. The gop strategy then will be to make Obama look as bad as possible to give the gop a good shot in 2012.
