One in your home state, one in DC. No one expects senators to live in refrigerator boxes--we pay them enough to make house payments in DC.

I'd even let them slide by with a third--a vacation home on the beach or something. Quite a few people who are not rich but merely comfortable have those.

What senators do NOT need is seven homes, which McCain has.

15. Palin charged the State of Alaska per diem on nights she slept away from the governor's mansion. She spent most of those nights in her own home.

16. McCain's healthcare plan will make employer-furnished healthcare benefits taxable income.

17. Palin's views on abortion are even more extreme than those of deposed Romanian dictator Nicolae Ceaucescu.

18. McCain violated the military's Code of Conduct by providing military information to his Vietnamese captors in exchange for preferential medical treatment.

19. Palin supports aerial wolf hunting.

20. They don't call 'em "McBush" and "Bush in a Skirt" for nothing.
