I donated for the first time some time ago based on the matching donation system. Since we are so late in the game, i thought i should step up and offer a matcher. So my $50 donation apperently got a new donor in CT to donate as well and she sent me a nice little message.

I told here that this was the first time i had donated to a national campaign and it just seemed too important to not help.

When she donated, she said that it was a first for her too and that she felt the same way.


I must say that the strange excitement I got from it seems almost addictive. Now i must wrestle with the desire to do it again.
