Even if and its a big if the national polls seem to be showing a meager advance by McCain the key battleground poll which for a long time showed no advance for Obama even when he was up a couple of points nationally, is now firmly polling for him.
It suggests a huge amount of effort and work in the key states.
Good news but no reason to let up.
