Could Obama lose? Anything is possible. But he won't lose.
And anyone suggesting he is going to lose or that he won't last more than one term isn't helping the cause.

Does anyone believe Obama has "peaked" and that McCain can make up a ten point lead? Do you think he can reverse the leads Obama holds in battleground states that are showing an electoral landslide?

Obama leads in Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Plus Colorado, New Mexico, Iowa, and Nevada. He's closed the race to a toss up in North Carolina, Indiana, and Missouri.

He's got the BIG money advantage. He's putting McCain in the defensive in spending valuable resources in states like Indiana, North Carolina, Missouri and Colorado--all which SHOULD be GOP states but aren't.

Voter registrations in battleground states all benefit him. As does early voting in those states.

He and Biden have won three out of three debates, and the final one is about the ECONOMY--McCain won't win it.

McCains losing ground among independents and undecideds--and the amount of undecideds is getting smaller and smaller by the day.

It's over. Obama won.

He just needs to ride the momentum.

So everyone shut the fuck up. He's got this.

And once he's elected, he'll bring change. People will be happy, he'll go down in the history books--and we'll have our second two term Democratic President in the last fifty years!!

8. Overconfidence loses every time folks! It's WRONG to feel too confident
right now! You start promoting the "he can't lose, or the he will win" rumors NOW, and Obama WILL LOSE! People will say, awe damn, I'm not waiting in that long line. He doesn't need me anyway! STOP IT NOW! I'm a believer in analagies between sports & politics, and I can tell you, as a FERVENT Steeler fan, every time they played a game where the odds were dramatically in their favor, THEY LOST! They went out on the field and thought they didn't have to fight for the win!

STOP saying BS like "It's over" "He's going to win" "McNuts is done". We have to fight this all the way to 7 PM on November 4th!

10. It is over, he has won. And like I said, we just have to ride the momentum.
I didn't say, stop volunteering...stop donating...stop working.

We'll lose if we don't fight. But we're fighting, and fighting smarter.

We've got this. Barack has got this.

Confidence isn't a bad thing. We're on the winning side.

11. I didn't say confidence was bad. I said OVER CONFIDENCE!
It scares the hell out of me that too many people will think he's won already by such a big margin that they don't have to bother voting!

I'm already afraid that all those young voters won't bother. Please don't make it worse and make any more people OVER CONFIDENT! If that happens, WE LOSE!

12. Momentum?
This comes and goes. I am confident that there will be a President Obama. However to say he should just coast is not wise. He must continue doing what helped him build the lead. No, better yet he should take calculated steps to futher increase his lead. I want this election to be a landslide. Victory should not be celebrated until it is won.

14. I think some people forget...
...that this board is tantamount to a bunch of like-minded people sitting around and shooting the shit. So when we say "Obama is going to win," there's no goddamn harm in it. We're not yelling this from a street corner to undecided voters. There's not a person here who won't vote and actively work for Obama, so I think some of the nervous nellies can be a bit obnoxious at times.
