9. You're reading the wrong numbers. And the name of the town you live in is "Asheville"...
not "Ashville".

McKlan not only had a bad week... He IS a bad week.

What do you think of "our" nominee? I'm curious.

28. Even though Gallup narrowed slightly today Obama's overall average increased today
Edited on Sun Oct-12-08 08:47 PM by Quixote1818
from 6 something to 7.3. As for Gallup, the second scenario is more likely based on increased numbers of minority voters. Also, probably most of the nation wide gains for McCain were in the south as the state polls show Obama pulling away from McCain big-time in the swing states. I would guess people in Alabama and Mississippi are falling for the Ayers crap, but it's backfiring in the swing states.

26. The race is going to tighten
The landscape of an open race is hardly a 6-8 point advantage. More like 2-4 in this climate. You have to accept that and not get carried away with extreme margins in our favor, the same way the couple of weeks with McCain in the supposed lead were not meaningful going forward.

Obama is in great shape. But he's not going to pick off the second tier states like some posters are currently proposing.
