I'm really beginning to think they're going to steal another election.
A week ago I was certain we'd win....and I was elated. Now, I'm getting scared. Please, reassure me!!

5. I believe it depends on how badly they want the White House.
Frankly, I cannot imagine why anyone would want to be the next President.

That's how you win.

2. It is early yet but they could steal a 'close' election. I don't think this one will be close.
They can't steal a 'landslide' and we need to make sure that every vote for Obama shows up and votes.

Just saying...

20. This is the deal as I know it:
Obama will win.

But, they have to try to steal it.

And, we know where and how they will try.

So, we have a choice.

We can let them try or we can push back. We know most of their tricks and there are many, MANY more eyes on them this time.

28. We MUST do everything we can to support voters in swing states.
Remind them to check their reg.

Ask them to vote in a group -- so if they're challeged at the polls, they'll have a witness.

Stay together and exchange information as it becomes available.

Support election protection group, donate, volunteer with them.

Elections are NOT magic. They work because our people make them work.

Let's please do what we can do and NOW.

22. I think many GOP leaders will see an unacceptable risk in tryng, this time.
Edited on Sun Oct-12-08 07:02 PM by Essene
but as long as it's not legitimately a nailbiter based on 1-2 state electoral votes, they cannot steal this.

America will not allow it, this time.

I think many GOP leaders are looking to cut losses, rather than to make things ever worse for themselves long term. If they risk trying to steal the election, they risk a complete destruction of their party. Think about how many of them are looking at this. ALL the dynamics are stacked against them & they'd be lucky not to face a landslide after the last month.

The GOP is in turmoil

It's divided and openly so, in a way i havent seen in my lifetime. Rash acts by them could do more than turn people off, but in fact DESTROY the party permanently. Folks are engaging in mutiny and ashamed since 2006.

42. Yeah, I'm sorry. Me, too. The Bush Justice Department
has been trying to capture these votes for four years.

I don't see a way to say this quietly: they will try to steal swing state votes and they've been working hard to do it. They've had teams in all of those states for years.

Our upside is that we know what they're doing.

And, btw, all those people like the NYTs and like David Corn that called me and others nuts turned out to be WRONG.

So, try to support your people in the swing states. Because there's a shower of sh1t about to fall all over them.

Even if someone is entertaining the idea of stealing the election, they've gotta know that it wouldn't work this time. There will be NO explanation for a McCain win other than theft.

41. The Republicans captured the Justice Department
and have spent four years putting in an election fraud infrastracture.

I don't mean to alarm any one, but if you're not helping your swing state friends vote, you're not trying.

And they can concoct any number of stories -- just like the "values voters" story they floated the weekend after they stole it from Kerry. The "values voters" that no one could ever find.

So, don't freak out. Get busy.
