When asked why I will be voting for John Kerry, I answer honestly.
I am voting for John Forbes Kerry because I am completely convinced he will be the best president this nation has ever had.

This is coming from a man who once thought he despised Kerry. By further educating myself about the man, I knew, there is no better equipped human being in this nation to take on the problems that confront our nation in these troubling times.

3. Right on Walt.
I was not a Kerry supporter in the beginning, mainly because I was really blown away by General Clark, and knew next to nothing about Kerry.

But as I go along and read more and more, and after having seen him in person, I really do believe he will be the best man for the job.

I started out mainly ABB, but I am now a Kerry backer 100%.

After *Bush, this country needs him.

Only my opinion of course.

8. Ditto... I supported Clark in the primaries...however, just as you did

I started listening to his message and I am convinced it is destiny for him to be President.

I finally bought his book today and am anxious to start reading it. I will be going door to door more and more as the election grows closer... and I want to understand as much as I can to convince others that he is indeed our best and only choice when it comes to electing our next President.

11. Awesome!
Tonight was my first time knocking on doors.

Surprisingly even the *Bush supporters were nice enough, except for one guy.

And even he took the time to answer our questions.

I am sure I will be running into people who will not be at all nice, but I really got into it after a few houses.

And we did run into a couple people who were unsure, but seemed interested to learn more.

It was so cool to hand those people literature and answer their questions.

Cheers man.

13. My Experiences Have Been VERY positive...
We (the group I was with) didn't have any negative experiences and we were in a very republican neighborhood. Most people just took the literature and we went on our way.

Keep the Fire Burning...:-)

Why a Candadian would cast his vote for Kerry
1971 ... he rose when many men faltered.
he understood what most men could not comprehend.
limbs lost, faces torn, man on man
he spoke the truth when most men sought comfort in denial.
he rose then and will rise again.
... truth outweighs denial.

9. Walt, I watched your gradual evolution this year very closely because
in many ways, it reflected my own situation. I started out Graham, went to Clark the day Graham dropped out, moved to Edwards, and finally to Kerry. Kerry wasn't my first choice, but he was the party's first choice. Like you, I examined his background and record, watched his family, and now I truly believe that he will be one of the finest presidents America ever had, given the chance.

You've grown a lot this year, Walt, as have I. Here's a toast to our next president, John Forbes Kerry :toast:

10. He fought for 19 years in the senate
with his background and money he could have just lived the high life without worrying about the rest of America...as George W. Bush did for so long.

But Kerry wanted to serve America...in war times and in times of peace...I trust him more than anyone else
