Its either changing color here in Ohio or this is a pretty liberal paper...hopefully both!!!! There were quite a few letters voicing disgust in the McCain/Palin tactics the last week...

4. We were driving yesterday and my 8 y/o daughter was grumbling at the number

of McCain/Palin signs...

I told her, as I read on here from a VERY smart DU'er...

"Honey, it's ok if we lose the yard sign competition....we want to win the election!!!" and she really got it!

8. Good for you. My local paper in the Fl. panhandle would never publish a letter like that. Of course

the editor of my paper would probably attend a McCain/Palin rally and lead the hate speech.

16. I am so sad for your son and the other child who had to witness

the hate and bigotry at that rally.Did those parent even think how that would effect their children?
I am hurt by the distrust that these rallies are invoking.

McCain is continuing to permit this fear mongering and hate speech to continue. I read that this morning an rally introduction said that other countries around the world are praying to their gods(muslin,hindu,islam) that Obama wins.With no mention of Christian it separates him and insinuates that he is supported by our enemies.

McCain is not Presidential material when he allows these falsely perceived division to be confused a true. His words that he does not condone these actions is witnessed as lies by his actions.

Formerly a Cuyahoga Cty. res. now in Summit. I know that area well, many now second generation families that fled busing and the inner ring suburbs. Lots of bigotry! Not much critical thinking.
