4. I actually feel a little sorry for her;

I understand she just agreed to be on the show to make enough money to pay for a gastric bypass operation, and she ended up making a sort of immortality for herself as a punch line. It's an example of how reality TV has the same role for us as the various "games" in the Roman arenas - both exploit people without many options. And like many such people, she wasn't bright ewnough to see how she was being taken advantage of.

9. I don't feel sorry for her at all

It was not a one-sided exploitation by any means. She did everything she could to stretch out her fifteen minutes, and when that was up, she went back on the show, again. Unfortunately for her, by that point people had already declared her old meme and went on to the next thing.

She's pretty much the definition of a famewhore (as is everyone that goes on a Fox reality show), and knew exactly what she was doing.

Is a person humiliated if they don't realize they look like a jackass? I still find her pitiable, although I don't know if that's the same as feeling sorry for a person.
