It's like you can almost feel the ground shifting beneath your feet
If there is no huge KO by mccain in the next debate, and there won't be - he can't deliver one, he is cornered, then this is done.

I can feel the movement from mccain toward Obama - it's rattling my windows.

Never let your guard down, never take anything for granted, but the fact that there will be a massive blowout three weeks from now becomes clearer with each passing day.

Can you feel it?

1. YES.
After 8 years of going backward, and cowering in fear for much too long, our country has finally decided it has to go for hope, rather than fear, and move forward. In the end, the outcome of elections is really as much about the electorate as it is about the candidates. I'm mightily impressed by Obama and his campaign, but the thing that REALLY gives me hope is the mood of the citizens. WE are the deciders. And, for once, we seem to be making a good collective decision.

2. I am as they say as nervous..
as a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs. If I relied on reasoning and logic I would be as calm as could be. Maybe I'll do that.

3. I'm taking nothing for granted.
Frankly, this white suburban girl does not trust her fellow white voters to vote for Obama when they get in that booth. I'm sorry to say that we need a double digit lead going into election day to overcome the racists who will not vote for the man with the darker skin color.
