Palin is the reason that the Republican ticket is tanking
Ok, so it's not the only reason, but Sarah is one of those people who has zero ability to charm anybody except her very narrow base. maybe its because of her limited exposure to different cultures in Alaska. whatever the cause, palin is a definite drag on the ticket.

she thinks that she is helping mccain, but her antics are a serious drag on the ticket.

mccain seems to understand this.

palin, ever so imbicile, does not.

1. She is a polarizing figure
she is not wining any converts; just separating the wheat from the chaff.

The only problem is, she's keeping the chaff.

3. She was selected
to do what she's doing, whether she or mcC knew it or not.

If we're very luck, this will result in the end of the repub party we've seen for the last 20? years.

5. I think you mean: everyone not IGNORING Palin is a major reason...
Of course all of those useless handwringing DUers whining about how attention on Palin would hurt us will NEVER admit how deeply wrong they were.

7. KKKarl wanted Romney. He's been rather lukewarm towards Palin
I don't think he really wants McCain to win.

15. WillyT sent me a great link: I guess Bill Kristol was/is Palins big champion, not KKKarl.

11. You got that right
McHoover is also a great drain. This is officially the worst ticket since television and arguably ever. Sure, other will have lost in more crushing fashion but never have we been presented such a hopeless set of leaders surrounded by a bunch of even more inept flunkies.

The fruits of exceptionalisim without inclusion and intellectualism.

17. McCain would have lost anyways, but it would have been closer
if he had picked someone so unqualified . one of the only things he had going for him was the experience argument which went away when he picked Palin and as people begin to watch her for themselves and see what a moron she is.

21. She certainly gives his team a convenient excuse, once it's over.
They'll say she was not quite vetted and lied on the "form" she filled out.

She'll say they weren't "ready" for someone like her to dominate the spotlight.

And twig and sprout and mushroom and shotgun and "k-mart run" will all ask:

"Mommy, why aren't we famous anymore?"
