I am hearing a lot of republicans say the same thing lately..
they are saying that both parties are screwed and they hate all politicians.

8. Yes, I've heard exactly the same message, and it does not cheer me.
The wingnut I'm closest to knows how fucked McCain is, but uses this kind of logic to justify voting for him anyway, I think mostly because McCain better personifies his rage. And my acquaintance is a very angry and bitter man.

I'm thinking that they are mad because the GOP will lose, and they can't bring themselves to vote Democratic, for various reasons--around here they deal with race.
