"That one"
My Mother grew up in the south, and she and I were talking about the debate this week. She said she was shocked to hear McCain call Obama "That one", because she remembers it being a racial slur against blacks commonly used by assholes when she was growing up.

Not only was it insulting, but it had a darker meaning to it as well. McCain is a real bastard.

2. Go Mom!!
Its totally a slur...the white folk cant bring themselves to uttering a "negros" name...paleeze...anyone that learned civil rights history knows so...

and all those idiots out there that equate “terrorist” and “erratic” …and in doing so, sounded like a spoiled little brats… “Well, Obama is saying McCain is erratic”

ERRATIC
Function: adjective
Having no fixed course : wandering <an erratic comet> barchaic : nomadic

TERRORIST
Function: noun
The systematic use of terror especially as a means of coercion

I think I'd much rather be called erratic than a Terrorist...

3. It is beyond rude,
And I was just about to post a question:

What do you think was going through Obama's mind when the old Coot farted like that with his mouth? Seriously, does a great man like Obama just turn it off when he hears shit like that? How often does he really hear insults during the day?? ...Or was he thinking about the topic, what to say next? Political thoughts? That kind of thing... Just wondering.

5. Really?
I would think that something that rude would have thrown him off, because it is so archaic to have that attitude these days. You know like, WTF! ...However,I like to think he was thinking that McCain just threw him some more votes.

6. I think that after being called a terrorist all week, Obama was more
than ready for whatever McCain threw at him. And I think Obama is smart enough to realize that the moment made McCain look very bad to the moderates and independents who they are competing for.
