Obamahoma voter registration ended today. My wife, with volunteers
from the local youth center, registered 675 voters in the last two weeks. We registered people in their fifties and older who have never voted. We registered people who didn't know where to go to register. It has been a wholly positive experience, and with a bit of luck, we may help turn the sooner state blue. Maybe we can even unseat inhoffe! Anyone in states where there is still time to register should get out and help. go door to door, go to the mall, even just carry some registrations around in your daily doings. You'll be glad you did.

4. I would love nothing more than to unseat that slimeball
And talk about a dirty campaign! All I can say is that Jimmy must feel pretty threatened given the nastiness he's unleashed against Andrew Rice!

5. What is the result of the most recent Inhfofe-Rice poll?
Tried to Google it, but couldn't find anything recent.
Boy, would I ever love to see Inhofe go down to defeat.

6. I don't know, but it wasn't good last I heard. I'm pinning my hopes

on the fact that most of the polling is done to landlines, but young voters have cell phones. I'm also hoping that turnout will make the difference. I believe that if turnout had truly reflected the entire population over the years, many of these maniac rethugs like inhoffe would have been voted out. I'm hoping that Obama will get the turnout, and Rice and local dems will benefit.
Next step is campaigning. Tomorrow my wife is meeting with a black church coalition to arrange a forum. We have a commitment from Erwin, and we're hoping to interest Barrington, Rice, and even Inhoffe. Meanwhile, we're talkning to anyone who will listen, and so far we have been incredibly impressed and hopeful from the feedback. This state may not reaaly be as red as we assume. I think turnout is the key. Also, the final step: poll monitors. If history is our guide, the polls need to be carefully watched.
