What's McCain's hero status now?
He sure doesn't look like an honorable man to me. What kind of person would stoop to so low as to engage in character assassination based on out right lies. This was the trademark of the Rovian politics that has destroyed our nation. I suppose that he learned the tactic well as he sucked up to Bush after they destroyed him. Is this the type of behavior that has been displayed by some kidnap victims in which they begin identifying with their captors.

2. From Hero to Zero
Nobody can seriously say that his behavior over the course of this campaign befits someone who would like to be known as a national hero. His campaign is taking the low road and McCain clearly not only is okay with it, he's encouraging it. He's become anything but a hero.
