So the Talking Heads must really believe the *&^% they Peddle
Money talks, right?

I have always believed that Fox news, Limbaugh, Coulter and their ilk spout hate and right-wing talking points for money and nothing more. Their listeners, while no doubt greedy themselves, spout the hate because they believe what they're told. Rabid right wingers are not intellectually curious or intelligent, and they crave the safety that fear, hatred, and believing in a pretend god gives them.

But with the markets doing what they're doing, I'm shocked that people like Scarborough and others can, with a straight face, still try to blame this stuff on Democrats, and claim that Obama will make things worse. These hate-peddlers make a lot of money, which they have no doubt highly invested in the markets, so they're losing money hand over fist too, yet they still spew their lies and hate.

Which leads me to the only conclusion I can come to: the hate-peddlers truly believe their lies. This shocks me. What on earth am I missing?

1. You're missing the fact that their bosses are in the process of getting even richer
off the human misery that they are creating. You may see a crash. They see an opportunity. Take a close look at how the ultra-rich fared during the Great Depression. For every house or farm that somebody lost, someone else acquired a house or farm for pennies on the dollar. The rich bought up America at bargain-basement prices, and solidified their hold on the nation's wealth.

Read the Shock Doctrine for an update on what's going on.

2. They
Have a vested interest in keeping it going, if not they might have to actually do something important like reporting on the real news....They have become the one thing that they are not supposed to become, part of the story. They NEED controversy....
