These smear tactics only appeal to Republican extremists.

10. Because he's fucking STUPID
He's so shamelessly GOP. He deserves the low-ratings slot he's got on MSNBC. Just remember, DU has more members than Morning Joe has viewers.

12. We'll be foolish to assume it won't...
Let's not forget how stupid people can be. And let's not forget how bad the media can be.

And yeah, people are concerned about the economy. And while that helps Obama, it also generates a lot of emotionally flailing resentment and lashing out. It makes people feel powerless and when they're powerless they're dangerous. And the way they vote and react can be dangerous as well.

I want to remain optimistic. I do. But then I remember the lessons of the past 12-15 years and beyond and my optimism goes out the window.

Right, people evicted from foreclosed homes, jobless, and a 401K that is in the tank...and the voters give a shit about Ayers and Wright.

Take another hit of the crack pipe, Joe...:eyes:

22. He WANTS it to tighten up but its backfiring instead.
The polls this morning seem to indicate that people are turned off by this. Remember in 2004 it was the 527s and Bush could hold his hands clean but in 2008 its McCrap and Phalin starting this...you never want to be the candidate and do the smears you want someone from the outside to do it.

He doesn't know what to think. His thoughts are just as erratic as McCain's, he's just all over the place with his opinions.
