Barack Obama has "it"

Bill Clinton had it too.
Ronald Reagan (unfortunately) did too.


John Kerry, Al Gore, Michael Dukakis, Bob Dole, GHW Bush, and Jimmy Carter didn't have "it".


What is "it"?

It is a quality that causes attacks to actually have the effect of increasing support for the one being attacked.

It is why swiftboating won't work with Obama.


No matter what the Republicans tried with Clinton... all it did was drive his approval ratings through the roof.

No matter what the Democrats tried with Reagan... all it did was make him more popular.



Obama has that same "it".


He's going to win big.

2. Yep. That sounds exactly right.

I'm going to try and be as cool as he is about this, because I've had some pretty vile thoughts due to being so angry about the unjust attacks. However, Obama is so much better than McCain and Palin. And it appears a faction of the 'pubs just want a reason to shout their hatred, and bring it completely out of the closet. It must suck having to bottle that much rage and self-loathing up and pretend you are a semi-decent human being, when you're really the lowest common denominator on the evolutionary scale.
