for molesting his stepdaughter. I saw him outside his house on occasion and talked to him a few times. That's the extent of contact I had with him. He served several years in jail and is now living a subdued life some miles away. A friend of mine still sees him once in a while.

So, if I was running against a repuke for public office they'd say I palled around with a child molester.
