please know that many of your fears are unfounded. Social security, for example, was accused of being a "socialist" program when it came out; but now, your grandparents and parents and even you are counting on it for support.

There are many ways you can open your hearts and mind, and rid them of the hate and lies you've been fed.

There is nothing to fear from information. Letting go of beliefs in the face of facts is actually a good sign of mental health.

Good luck and should you decide to join us in working for a better country, you will find us much less alienating than your party was toward us. Even though your party right now consists of nothing much but hate, anger and a self-propagated sense of victim-hood, we won't stoop to your level, so you can expect better treatment than you deserve from us.

That said, shame on you for the last 8 years. Shame on you for not being pro-life, but only being anti-abortion. Shame on you for not following the tenets of the bible. Shame on you for your hatred, your violence, your bigotry and your racism. Shame on you for pretending Palin is a viable candidate. Mostly, shame on you for bringing America to her knees in a financial, international and national melt-down of heretofore unseen proportions and then being willing to continue that course.
