Poll question: Will the Obama campaign take the bait??
Cindy McCain has now stepped forward as an "attack dog" - attacking Obama for voting against the military funding measure (that didn't include an Iraq withdrawal timeline) and ignoring her husband's vote against another military funding measure (that DID include an Iraq withdrawal timeline).

"I wish I could change shoes with Senator Obama for just one day so he could understand about having a son in Iraq."

The BAIT is in the water.

The McCain campaign clearly wants to unleash attack ads against Michelle Obama. The calculus is that they'd lose more by attacking a spouse than they'd gain ... unless they could say "He did it first!!"

Do you think Obama sees the trap?

1. They should let Biden deal
with this, he has a son in Iraq. (I am assuming he voted the same way as Obama.)

6. Should Biden even mention Cindy's name?
 I don't think so ... it'd be enough for the John Coyote-Sancho Palin campaign to claim license to assault Michelle.

10. Bidens son is a true patriot!
Failins son had the choice of going to prison or going to Iraq and he chose to inlist to escape jail time!

Seems this kid cut the brakes on a school bus! So much for family values eh?

8. The pundits have pretty much panned her comments.
She's a terrible speaker. Better to leave it alone, and let her sound like a whiny, rich, spoiled GOP wife.

12. Nope, won't swallow that lure or the race bait either
They want Obama to blow up and make charges of racism. Ain't gonna happen. Don't get me wrong, he'll push back HARD against the false claims, but he will not call it "racism" and make race the primary discussion of the last 3 weeks.

14. All they need to do is ask why her husband voted against a time limit...
Why the hell doesn't he want his son to come home in a reasonable amount of time?
