Biden: Palin Was in 6th Grade the Last Time McCain Had a New Idea
ABC News' Matthew Jaffe reports: At a Thursday afternoon rally at William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri, Democratic vice-presidential nominee Joe Biden fired back at his Republican counterpart Gov. Sarah Palin for a comment she made two weeks ago about his age.

"Sarah Palin says, you know, 'I was in second grade when Joe Biden was elected to the United States Senate at age 29.' That's true, but she was in sixth grade the last time John had a new idea."

The Show-Me state audience loved Biden's line, laughing uproariously and rising to their feet in response to the Delaware lawmaker's retort to the Alaskan governor's pre-veep-debate zinger two weeks ago in Ohio.

3. The rest of the story.....
"You know, the hardest part, I've been the youngest everything for so much of my life," the 65-year old Biden said at a stop at a downtown Liberty bookstore earlier Thursday. "Now I'm the old guy in the campaign. Thank God John McCain's around."

LOL, I love Biden.

4. John Sidney McCain III had a new idea in 1976??!! Really??!!
Which one was that? I think Joe is being generous by saying that. I think it might be more accurate to say that Sarah Palin wasn't born yet when John Sidney McCain III had a new idea.

7. Don't forget
If my math is right, she was 8 years old (Born 1964) when Biden first became a senator (1972).
Hows that for experience?

9. that's a good one..
they've been having some great one-liners. My favorite from today was when Obama said that he can take 4 more weeks of John McCain attacking him, but none of us can take 4 more years of the same policies. And when he said We can't take a new road, if the driver has the same old map, and the 401k's are now 101k's.
