I'm watching the market bleed off 400 points a day, my and so many other's retirement plans are totally screwed and foreclosures are all over the place, 2 wars not going well and no money.

7. I hear you, I'm extremely worried about my parents who retired two years ago.
They're pretty much screwed, and they were very smart about saving for retirement. Now what?

3. The market situation is abyssmal and only going to get worse
This really is the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression - perhaps worse. At least during that time, people weren't as reliant on electricity, transportation and multi-national companies for their basis necessities.

We are in the midst of a world of hurt.

8. Which is why people want stories like this
come on these are the stupid people who are single issue voters. They don't like hearing about bad things when they got stories like Ayers and Paris walking around without under pants to entertain them and keep their minds off that they might be the next person to lose their home in the neighborhood or their job is the one being sent over sea's.
