1. This is my fav of FDR....it hung in my g'ma's living room...

and her Pastor came over once and saw it. He nods to the portrait and says..."Oh, Mrs Wood...I see where your politics lie." Nanny says "Yes, what about yours?" Pastor: "Oh, I better not talk about it..." (nervously chuckling)

Nanny: "Well, Pastor, if you're ashamed of your politics, maybe you should change your politics..."

2. despite the comparisons to JFK early on, I always saw FDR in this man.

FDR must be smiling down at this, and Eleanor....must be doing cartwheels.

hmmmm....maybe FDR,HST, JFK, RFK, MLK, and LBJ are ALL smiling down on this election, working their mojo ...you have to think they would all be very very pleased.
