2. Obama has this Catholic's vote.

I also have a feeling that Cardinal Glick may join in "in spirit" to help take back our beloved Faith
from the right wing - guild ridden Catholics. ;)

But seriously, I converted to the Catholic faith in 1996. My guide was a Franciscan Priest attached to our military base Church. He was such a wonderful soul ... a true living example of Catholic Charity and tolerance. I've continued to "love the faith" but have felt isolated by the right wing Catholics who have seemingly hijacked the Church, both in the USA and overseas.

Please don't blame all Catholics even for our poor leadership hierarchy. Change comes slow ... like the movement of the tectonic plates ... but change will come ... keep the faith. ;)

7. If you control...
...for income, race, education, ethnicity, and neighborhood, Catholic voters behave approximately like similar voters generally, and have for a generation.

The days of an identifiable 'Catholic vote' are twenty-five years behind us.

8. Every Catholic I know supports Obama.
Even a couple who have traditionally supported Republicans.

I can't explain it, but there it is.
