FYI: McCain has new web ad entitled "Ayers"
Guess this was the "big news" their campaign had in store for this morning. It's about 1 minute 40 seconds in length. Basically accusing Obama of being friends with him and accuses Obama of being dishonest with the American people. It reeks of desperation though.

3. Each time Ayers comes up, I think....
..."How low can you go, McCain?"

This is sooooooo totally stupid. Here is a person with Charles Keating as a close pal, and he is throwing shit like this around?

McCain HAS TO be suffering from some form of dementia, IMO.

5. About time. I assume they're "paying" for this one instead of relying on the "free" MSM. n/t

7. You know they're counting on the MSM
The web ad is 1:40 in length, so that's the first clue. Also, they made sure to release it for the morning news shows to use it as "breaking news". You know that FOX News will be happy to cover it non-stop on a loop.

6. Didn't McCain's campaign just say he wasn't going to focus on Ayers?
Maybe they are trying to take press away from the Troopergate issue?

Obama needs to be careful about being too defensive and go on the offensive.

All we have been hearing about is Ayers for the last few days. Obama has not come out and made a new issue to take Ayers off the front page.

Time for Obama to launch some news-getting attacks, before McCain dominates another news cycle

Remember, Kerry lost on defense, Bush won on offense. That's the way it works.

Time for Obama to make some news about McCain.
