Advice- Where should I direct a Republican friend regarding obtaining facts..

I have been asked by a friend who has always voted Republican, (but will likely be voting for Obama) about the rumor that he is a radical Muslim terrorist. Rather than respond in my usual fashion "that is fucking ridiculous" I need a way to direct her to a place to read the facts for herself. I find myself constantly getting enraged when involved in political discussions with Republicans and not communicating effectively.

Any suggestions will be appreciated. Be nice, I have lurked forever and have only recently taken the plunge! :D

how did he get into the Senate if he is a Muslim terrorist? Or how did he get on Senate Committees that have security clearance if he is a Muslim terrorist? Doesn't she feel rather stupid even saying that?
