Electoral-vote.com Four years ago! Looking Good for Us this Time!

Just to satisfy my own curiousity, I spent the last hour looking at the election per electoral-vote.com four years ago. Here it is

Electoral Vote Predictor 2004: Kerry 221 Bush 276

Some interesting things:

Bush was well ahead of Kerry most days in October

Bush never got above 296 EV in electoral-votes predictions

October was one wild month, huge swings in the predictions

Bottom Line: We are well above 300 EV's. Things have been relatively stable over there with steady increases in Obama support. The Votemaster believes the new and improved algorithm is better this time around, so maybe less volatility. However, I think its pretty clear, we win this time!

I've never felt more embarrassed and angry toward my country as I did during the 2004 cycles and early 2005. Everybody should have seen the stuff that is happening now coming in 2004.

I like John Kerry, but their campaign was absolutely pathetic. Bob Shrum should never work in political consulting again. No attacking Bush during the 2004 DNC?! Instead we got the lame-ass "I'm reporting for duty" shit.
