I just printed out a couple signs, stuck them in plastic bags that I'd trimmed to fit, and hung them on a tree in my front yard. They're good for windows and car windows, too.

on edit: I hadn't even gotten the second sign up when a passing pedestrian said: "Nice sign!"

I had to beg to get one sign from my county Dems and go to another county to buy my allotment of TWO bumper stickers! I have interstate highway access and need more signs. Will do some of these and just make a big Obama sign on a piece of plywood, I guess.

This makes me sad. I am not allowed to put an Obama sign in the front yard. I guess it doesn't matter much since Obama will landslide IL. :)

7. I got 4 Signs from a Republican Really...

I went to a local bakery here in VA and noticed the lady that works there, that I knew was
a Republican, had an Obama sticker on her car. I asked about it and she said she had signs
she was giving away. I asked her what changed her to being a Democrat. She said she was
still a Republican but the only ticket that made sense was Obama/Biden. She and her husband,also
a Republican was voting Democratic. She said she has taken a lot of flack from other Repugs
but she was staying firm.

18. Thanks for the link. I've been on a waiting list for a sign for over a week

at our county Democratic headquarters. I just printed off 3 of them and slipped them into a standard 8 1/2 X 11 sheet protector which should keep moisture from getting to them. If these get ripped off like my Kerry/Edwards sign did, I can just print new ones.

21. I sent away for one

they were selling em for 5 bucks at the local headquarters last week. I got a window sign.


They said there are only a few companies that make them and they can't keep up with the demand.
