Was Governor Charlie Crist, that great supporter of McCain unavailable? Has Charlie thrown McCain under the bus already?

8. Hack rednecks are the face of the repuke party.
Plus, Charlie is busy figuring out how to get out of this engagement mess, now that he's not the veep candidate.

9. Palin is being sent to the reddest of places - where only those types hang out.
She isn't holding rallies in places where she hopes to change minds. She is playing defense and desperately trying to hold onto the repuke base. She is extreme and so is her audience.

10. Ok, since I live in Lee County, and Sheriff Scott is my current Sheriff, he is NOT a redneck,
Edited on Wed Oct-08-08 07:20 PM by RollWithIt
And neither is the county. It's actually a quite popular retirement county in SW Florida. Big population. No farms. Not rural.

Scott is not a redneck.

He's just a fuckup political hack Republican. It's obvious he has aspirations for higher office. This guy is constantly grandstanding. He does a weekly "Scumbag of the week" radio show. His claim to fame is busting like a 1000 pot houses in one suburban city of the County (lehigh acres) which has basically done nothing except collect a bunch of fines for the county.

16. Thanks for the correction.
I did not really think he was a redneck, totally does not act like one. But I couldn't think of a better adjective.

13. Any good links to that info?
Just wondering, since I know several that work for the Sheriff's department. They'd get a chuckle out of it.

14. In uniform, a public employee
The public pays this guy, does it not?
Here he is, in uniform, helping to incite the masses.
He is entitled to his opinions, even as he would no doubt do his best to silence others.
But, in uniform? Was he on duty?
He's a disgrace.

17. I imagine she does a few of these each day. It's good tactics to use local pols
Throwing someone under the bus is when you blame them or leave them to take the blame. All Crist is doing is keeping the toxic two at arm's length. Trust me, when Dems have a bad year, local Democratic officials do the same thing.
