McCain is too proud to learn from the last debate
That's the bottom line here. Obama corrected himself from last debate. Too many liberals thought Obama allowed McCain to talk down to him too much. Tonight Obama hit harder and simply had a better speaking voice than last time out. Gone were most of the uh and ahs that hampered him in past debates. McCain amazingly (I mean totally amazing when you considered he lost the last debate) repeated all the same mistakes as last debate. Even leaving himself open to the bomb bomb bomb Iran line (that Obama nailed tonight) again. It's totally freaking amazing. But it's totally John McCain. McCain is too proud to own up to mistakes. It's what makes him look stupid over meeting the head of Spain. It makes him look stupid in Iraq (Obama questions your start of the war, which totally negates your superior knowledge on how to correct the original mistake). And now he totally lost a debate he needed to at least tie. Tonight McCain's worst feature, his unwillingness to own up to and correct past mistakes cost him this debate. I don't think we will see a presidential candidate do this poorly in a second debate again for a long time. I mean even Bush worked on his stuff after Kerry crushed him in the first debate. I mean Bush is more flexible than McCain. AMAZING, BUT TOTALLY JOHN MCCAIN.
