****Health Care Is A Right You Asshole!!!
McCain blew that one big! He said it's a responsibility which opened the door for Obama to state that he voted against the package covering children! He's a fucking creep!

2. That was a slam dunk question for Obama
For a second there I was afraid he wouldn't take the shot, but he did the right thing and called health care a right. That is very important to Hillary voters.

3. I loved how Senator Obama spoke about his dying mother
still fighting the insurance companies over her treatment, I think that struck home with many Americans, I think the insurance companies may have a shiver running down their spines, or a pucker in their sphincters come January 09.

6. It's not an American right. It's a human right.
You must as a human have water, food, shelter AND health care when needed or you will die.

It's a human need and thus a right. If it's available to one, it should be available to all..

9. That was the one subject Obama could have nailed and didn't
No I don't think health care should be a commodity would have been nice to hear. Then go into your program. You know McCain wouldn't have the guts to touch the subject and didn't. McCain's health care plan isn't a plan it's a fantasy.

12. Insurance companies are atill strong
Banks and investment firms are going down but the major health insurance companies are going to stay strong. They will throw money where they need to, in the next few years it will be to Democrats. Obama can talk all he wants but I don't see any Congress in the next ten or twenty years voting for any kind of health plan that really makes a difference. It will cost way to much and I and most people really can't stand the thought of our inept government being in control of health care.

I'm just negative but name one thing government has taken over that it hasn't ruined ?

17. Obama's plan isn't a total government take over. Look at the
plan on the website...here is a snip

The Obama-Biden plan provides affordable, accessible health care for all Americans, builds on the existing health care system, and uses existing providers, doctors and plans to implement the plan. Under the Obama-Biden plan, patients will be able to make health care decisions with their doctors, instead of being blocked by insurance company bureaucrats.

Under the plan, if you like your current health insurance, nothing changes, except your costs will go down by as much as $2,500 per year.

If you don’t have health insurance, you will have a choice of new, affordable health insurance options.

20. Uses existing providers
how exactly are the insurance companies going to change from how they are now ? Employer based health insurance is the biggest scam/trap ever and we are going to have it, doesn't matter who gets elected because Obama and McCain support it.

Even some DUers. Although not me and I guess I have to add that.

We'll see how that one plays out too. Funny that he says that about health care while proposing a $300 billion bail-out for mortgages.
