What we are seeing - Obama is brighter than much of the media covering politics - watching debate

analysis on PBS. The person who really has it nailed is the fellow from the New Yorker, David Remnick. He nearly got the essence of what we are seeing - Obama is confouding the intimidating much of the media, because they just can't figure out the complexity and competence of the man as well as the approach.

On edit, Remnick also alluded to the insult called Palin who "tried to wink her way to the White House"

Obama is THE president for our time. And it is a priviledge, in these difficult times, to be able to experience this.

3. Wesley Clark and Howard Dean are both too smart for the media.

The New Yorker is considered moderate left.
