What ever happened to "MY FRIEND". Either personal address makes my skin crawl. McCain is aging so fast, he may not even last until election day. It doesn't do him any good having his trophy wife and his bimbo VP candidate standing next to him, he already looks like he has one foot in the grave.

2. "My Friend" so sickening, dripping with insincerity
Yes, McCain comes across as a liar who will say anything these days.

Looking into the camera, hating all of us who won't vote for him, referring to us as "my friends..."

He sounds so dysfunctional, his words do make the skin crawl!

I was shocked by that. I wonder if it isn't especially offensive to African-Americans. It seems to lack respect. Maybe it's a subliminal substitute for the N-word? Or am I imagining things? Could that usage have actually been planned?
