Andrea Mitchell says McCain connected with the chief petty officer who he touched
on the shoulder and applauded for his service. Yet, after that as I recall he really walked away from him, while Obama, while not touching him, did also laud his service and then stayed with him and directly looked at him and answered his question.

5. No, she said the Republicans were pushing that meme
It wasn't her idea to start with - it was the only good spin the Republicans could find.

She really couldn't spin anything good for McCain, only mentioned the laughable Republican spin.

Obama clearly won.

14. That can be a dangerous gamble for the Republicans ...
... if it turns out the guy liked Obama's answer more, and is willing to go public with his preference.

9. Obama and Michele stayed and worked the room and the petty officer took a photo with both of
them and then the guy in the red shirt got his photo taken with them as well. Obama was engaging them in a lengthly conversation and more people started gathering around them to talk too.

10. The chief was interviewed on c-span post debate......
He said both candidates answered his question well, unfortunately he was not asked if he was leaning one way or the other. So old Andrea should try a little reporting some time instead of pulling it out of her ass.

22. Most of the men had their hands protecting their balls...
and the women had their arms crossed over their breasts. McCain was getting in their space.

OK I had to turn-off the sound because of brokaw and McCain, so that is what I mostly noticed. The woman in black (I think section A) only uncrossed her arms with Obama. I don't trust the other one, either!
