4. Instead of just cutting Medicare and Medicaid, he'll eliminate them altogether.
He'll toss out social security while he's at it.

16. Not buying the actual mortgages..
just the mortgage backed securities, but I think he's basically embracing an idea that is inevitable. It's not really a radical plan, just necessary. Maybe he was desensitizing the repub base to that.

17. The analysis in the WP this morning point out that it doesn't square with McGrump's "freeze" either.
So two strikes against McGrump on that one.
Actually three, Obama campaign is saying the buyout bill already includes a plan for doing that.
