Do any of you realize how much Obama is winning this?
McCain sounds like Palin. This is the final turning point.

2. Yep. the only way McCain could get anything out of this is by
dropping dead on camera. Then they could mourn him as a "fallen warrior."

3. He should be so lucky! He sounds WORSE than Caribou Barbie.
He's full of hot air and empty rhetoric.
Obama is not taking his bait much - he's focusing on positives. McCain is trying to be an attack dog, but he's just breathless and clueless and brainless and gutless.

4. I agree - McCain is really earning the moniker - McLame
Obama is confident and he actually knows what he's talking about.

6. Well it's just half over, we need to hope the rest of the debate
continues to go well. I'm sure McCain has a few lies left in his pocket.

7. Woot! It's NO question he has this nailed.
He's relaxed and in command, but McCain is filibustering and blustering and has no answers.

People are chosing between middle-age and old
Edited on Tue Oct-07-08 08:50 PM by AzNick
If only the old dude had wisdom to show for, but he does not.

Obama is the one who shows the wisdom tonight, the virtue that should be McCain's but is not.

He's just a grumpy old guy and he needs to retire to house #11 or whatever, driving his little Japanese-made golf cart, remembering the good old day he was bombing innocent civilians.

8. McCain is being shrill; Obama is being mature
Look at the difference when the two criticize one another. McCain is strident and petulant, whining "Obama did this," "Obama did that." Obama is confident and calm, putting the crazy old fool in his place. You get the sense that when they go home, Obama will dismiss McCain from his mind entirely and kiss his wife and kids good night then turn in. McCain will sit in a chair half the night seething, muttering nasty words and thinking how much he hates that damn kid.
