... and not realize what a strong possibility there is that his idiotic cheerleader of a VP will wind up being sworn in or at the very least filling in for him if he is temporarily incapacitated.

Look at every single President who has held office since the age of photography and note the "before becoming President" and "after being President" shot. Even the one-termers. Note how shockingly old they look in the after shot. McCain is now currently that after shot and the election hasn't even happened. The ultimate irony would be if he somehow got elected (through another mysterious election) and dropped dead the dead he was inaugurated. A crazy ass redneck imbecile coasts into the Oval Office as millions of Americans head for the fucking border in droves.
