Watching the debate - for purists, I recommend PBS
The debate and only the debate - no commentators, no graphics, no sound effects, not even that network 'bug' in the lower right corner. They trust you to understand it yourself. :patriot:

3. Yes, but they have the bug.
I did not know about the delay - how long is it?

15. Ah, yeah, that thing on the screen. Good point. As for the delay, I'm
not really sure. I just tossed that out. I did notice last time that when I switched between C-SPAN and other stations, C-SPAN was "ahead." I'm thinking it may be the same with PBS. But either PBS or C-SPAN are the only ways to watch these debates.

10. Yep. I like to tune in after and catch the historians comments. And watch
David Brooks look more and more defeated. It rocks.

you can tell he admires Obama's intellect. I thought he was going to choke after the V.P. debate.

7. PBS is great. But I don't think I'll watch. Too nervous. Last time I read the
VP debate thread - until the site crashed...oh well. Guess I'll try that again tonight.

11. I don't recommend PBS...McCain looks worse in HD...
I've gone with ABC to be able to see the HD but without the insane insta-perceptual-bullshitometer.

Edited on Tue Oct-07-08 07:42 PM by blogslut
Tonight I'm gonna try hulu.com. It's the first time they're live-streaming a broadcast. If I don't like it, I'll switch to c-span.
