Everytime I see the phrase "Obama should..." or "the Democrats should..." here on DU

I know it's going to be followed by the most monumentally stupid suggestion that I only HOPE is in jest. The reason I say this is, as soon as I read what Obama or the Dems should do, I usually think to myself, "yes, if we're TRYING to throw the election."

Maybe I'm alone here but based on the number of responses some of these posts get regarding what a horrible idea it would be, I don't think I am.

So, in the spirit of things, tonight, during the debate, Obama should bring out a big sack of puppies and kittens. He should bash one to death every time McLame says the word "the". If he has kittehs or puppies left at the end, he should just eat them. Sound like a solid plan???

4. It's a little irritating.

I sometimes offer my opinions in thread, too, on what I WISH Obama would do, but it does grate to read those kinds of posts, especially OPs. My initial response is always to think, "Are you working for the campaign? If not, what expertise do you have that those who DO, don't?" And then of course, the obligatory eyeroll.
