President Obama - bring back the fireside chats!
Looking ahead a little here, but should the right thing happen in the next month, I hope Obama, in the spirit of FDR, takes time to speak directly to the citizens via a weekly address. His new ad addressing the failure of the past eight years of trickle-down economics and highlighting his economic plan is FANTASTIC, and I love his style of real, honest straight-talk. I think it would be great if he could use this communication form should he be elected, continue to mobilize his supporters and encourage grassroots groundwork for his policies.
