There are a couple of things I'd like to see Obama bring up tonight
First and foremost: I'd love to see him broadcast McCain's plan to cut 1.5 trillion from Medicaid and Medicare over the next decade. McCain's top econ advisor, Douglas Holz-Eakins said this is indeed a McCain priority to fund McCain's pathetic health care plan.

When Obama is attacked on Ayers I'd like to see him name the names of the prominent repubs who also sat on the Annenberg Challenge Board. I heard one of them, a former Repub State Rep talking on NPR yesterday and she said there were quite a few repubs on that board and none of them ever had a problem with Ayers past.

I'm betting Wright will also be brought up.

1. I'd like to see that too.
But most of all I would like to see McSame lose his temper and demonstrate to viewers how vicious he can be, while Obama's behavior remains respectable. I gurantee, that would widen the gap even more.

4. I'd like Obama to talk about the VP candidate who was McCain's first choice...
Joe Lieberman; and how he sponsored the Iraq War Resolution which Lying John co-sponsored. ..That brings focus to the lie which led us to war. It also shows that McCain didn't pick Palin.

Obama should talk about the coincidence of Palin approving that once $26b, -now $40b Alaskan gas pipeline. -just prior to us all being surprised about her being picked; proving the GOP is led by Big Oil.

Lying John not getting to pick his VP, makes old Johnny look like a weak puppet.

8. well, thankfully Obama won't bring up Lieberman
Obama can't give any convincing evidence that Lieberman was McCain's first choice and most people wouldn't even be interested in the inside politics flavor of that.

The biggie is McCain's support for massive cuts in Medicare/Medicaid. That shit scares the hell out of seniors and sends them fleeing the pukes.

11. I'd like to see Obama talk about everything that would make McCain look bad...
...as long as it's truthful.

6. Absolutely the Medicare cutting plan, followed by a remark about
McCain wanting to do for the healthcare problem what was done for banking. He could also mention McBush's support for privatizing social security.

7. I agree.
Is the debate solely about the economy? Or domestic issues? If it's about domestic issues, I very much hope the "M" question isn't asked tonight, to be honest.

9. hi, terrya. I'm not sure how broad the topic is tonight
but I think it's pretty far reaching as it's a townhall format. I'm bracing for the worst. I think the "M" question will come up along with abortion and other contentious issues.

10. hi, cali.
Thanks. My only hope is that if the "M" question is mentioned, that Obama handles it a little better than Biden last Thursday night. I know, of course, that Obama has to do what is necessary, politically. But...it's still difficult to hear.

I won't belabor this anymore. My best wishes to Obama for a good night tonight. :-)
