A heckler called for Obama to be killed. Palin said nothing. Should her silence be interpreted as tacit approval? Sure looks like it.

Doesn't excuse the comment, but I don't think it would help to go after Palin for something someone said in a crowd about Ayers. And I firmly believe that, given the concern about our economic situation, this attack on Senator Obama is going to backfire bigtime.

so I thought I made it clear that it wasn't ok. And re defending Ayers, I haven't heard Obama say anything negative about Ayers; he responded by saying that what Ayers did was wrong, and distancing himself from the relationship, but hasn't made any comments as to his character. You can argue he should be more supportive of Ayers, but I hardly think this is the time to be taking a public stance defending Ayers.

Chances are good that it was scripted. A very similar "shout out" was heard at a McCain speech in which the "heckler" called Obama a terrorist. This is being coordinated.
