1. Isn't that a bit like Obama advertising in, say, Oklahoma? n/t

2. More like...
If Obama was hemorrhaging cash AND losing key battlegrounds AND advertising in Oklahoma.

4. We get Obama commercials if they are on the cable
networks or the national networks. LOL - did you know Obama has a campaign office in Tulsa?!

13. It's been busy.
I don't hold out hope for a win here, but it's nice to see all the Obama yardsigns everywhere.
In fact, I'm going to make a post in a minute about a blue collar co-worker of my husband...
has decided to vote for Obama!

11. No. Do you realize how close Gore came to losing Oregon?
He won it by 4/10 of 1% in 2000. Kerry won it by about 4%, more comfortable but hardly solid.

15. And do you realize that Obama's up by more than 10 points in Oregon?
This is 2008, not 2000 or 2004. And, yeah, I am aware of the previous numbers. Polling is my life ... my sad, sad life. :P

18. He's up more than 10 points in Virginia too

But he sure as hell ain't taking that for granted. The polls all look good right now...he's having a good week. The election is a month away and a lot could change. I doubt we will lose Oregon, but I don't think McCain campaigning in a state that Bush lost by 4 points is the same thing as if Obama were to campaign in Oklahoma, where Kerry lost by over 20 points.

14. Yeah, I've been seeing them here in Cali too
Whenever they come on, I do that dog thing -- tilt my head to the side and look confused. What a waste of money. They have as much of a shot of winning California as I have of being the next Top Model.

What a waste of money!

And that great big arena where Palin was supposed to speak here in my area over the weekend? She didn't use the big arena... she used one of the smaller areas... and despite the GOP touting she spoke to some huge sum of people, the area where she spoke held thousands fewer;)

Did someone say "silly season"?

If either the Cadaverick or his sidekick Winky show up at a rally in Idaho - we'll know their goose is well and truly cooked.

17. Say, fellow Idahoan -
Have you been seeing the Obama ads? I didn't really expect his campaign to spend money advertising here, but since late last week, I've seen several Obama ads.

If this is not the act then I have no clue what their camp is thinking.
