General Motors - What A Difference 4 Years Make, $54/share in 2004
It is now trading at about $8.20/share at the end of Bush's second term. Yet, McCain wants us to stay the course with Bush's economic policies and tax cuts.

2. Wonder who GM Execs backed in the 2004 election?
Probably as being "good for business..."

4. SUVs and TRUCKs. They blame the buyers, but they pushed these vehicles...
for short term unsustainable profits.

Now they're sorry, blaming buyers, and the buyers (and I am not among them) are stuck with worthless behemoths.

Sad, once upon a time America was a leader in these matters.

5. I know. Wasn't it even close to $90-100 / share around 2000?
If I had money I would invest in some stock. Too bad that the economy is so bad most people don't have the money to take this bad news and turn it into an opportunity.
