Here we are in this major financial crisis, with lame duck idiot Bush in the driver's seat, just waiting out the clock, leaving the resolution of this crisis to everyone else.

You know that if Obama was actually president right now, he'd be managing this aggressively, working to steady the market, and that the market would be more likely to respond, knowing that someone capable is in charge.

The tragedy is that by the time Obama finally gets inaugurated as president, the worst damage to this economy may already have been done. He will have to clean up a much worse mess than he would have to if he were in charge to manage the crisis right now.

1. Me too, I seriously wish we could have a coup

and throw the Bushies out of office. It happens elsewhere... and at one time in our country's history, our forebears had the stamina and commitment to do such a thing.
Or even if we could have the Dem majority, like countries such as UK, demand an early election.
